LAS VEGAS -- Most of Microsoft's MIX conference is about Web development and Windows Phone 7 this year, but several sessions have also focused on Microsoft's Surface.
In a Tuesday session on natural user interface, a developer showed a hovercraft drone remote-controlled by Microsoft Surface software. The Surface software is supposed to run on a large touchscreen tablet the size of a flat-screen television but in this case it was running on a Windows PC. Theoretically, you should be able to control the drone by adjusting the controls on the Surface screen with your fingers.
